A long, slim bladed petty knife with a strong spine. Suited to longer, precise cuts but with a fine enough tip for intricate work.
This knife still has a bit of weight to it, so the heel is still effective for going through tougher veg. Best suited for veg & boneless proteins. Not suitable for deboning due to its hardness at 61hrc.
Natural wood, wa style handle of Walnut wood, with a blackwood collar and octagonal shape providing a comfortable but secure grip. Blade is set with a soft glue that can be removed with heat for handle changing but still remains incredibly strong and durable. The handle on this knife is slightly longer, which suits its blade length as it gives the hand a little bit more support on long, or precise cuts.
It is a carbon steel blade, so over time will develop its own unique patina and colouring, this is normal, and reflects your cooking habits. It will require some basic care. It is a unique handmade item, and has signs of this, please make sure you examine the photos closely.
