Handforged kitchen knives

Finished off a few projects from last year to start fresh for 2026. This included a selection of carbon mono steel kitchen knives that id hand forged and had racked on the shelf. Handles of cherry and blackwood on these gave a lovely contrast, made in a traditional wa style with burnt in tang. I’ve switched to soft glue on the tang now as it means the knife can easily be removed with a bit of heat that wont damage the blade temper or handle. Any gaps between knife and handle hole are sealed with beeswax to stop food ingress.
